MindManager License Key Exchange

For MindManager Pro 7 Users Only

Mindjet has implemented a new licensing mechanism with the release of MindManager Pro 7 Service Pack 2 as of June 17, 2008 that offers greater software protection to Mindjet and its customers.

The new licensing mechanism only affects existing MindManager Pro 7 customers and does not affect MindManager Lite or MindManager Mac users.

The new licensing mechanism requires that existing MindManager Pro 7 (including SP1) customers acquire a new license key from Mindjet.

To receive the new license key and update to MindManager Pro 7 SP2:

  • Select the Tools tab from the MindManager Pro 7 ribbon toolbar and press the Update button to download and update your software.
  • Download MindManager Pro 7 SP2 directly from www.mindjet.com/support.
  • License Key Exchange

As part of the download process, users will be required to enter a valid MindManager Pro 7 (including SP1) license key to receive a free-of-charge MindManager Pro 7 SP2 license key. An easy-to-use wizard will guide the activation process for the new key as part of the software update installation.

  • Customers with a single-user license will automatically receive a new key during the update process to MindManager Pro 7 SP2.
  • Customers with multi-seat license keys will be able to follow-the same process. Each of the users of a multi-seat key can input their key and each user will receive the corresponding multi-seat MindManager Pro 7 Pro license key in exchange.
  • Customers who use large scale or custom deployment methods should contact their designated Mindjet Account Manager or Mindjet Customer Service for assistance.
